Sehr schöner ruhiger Ort um zu chillen. Wer die Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Tolles Essen, spitzen Personal, alle irre freundlich, romantische Abendstimmung mit toller Beleuchtung, sehr sauber. Zelte etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber dennoch sehr gepflegt. Das Bad ist ein Traum, mit Aussendusche, am besten einen Helm aufziehen, da schon mal eine Kokosnuss runter kommen kann,die aber hervorragend schmecken ;) Außerhalb gibt es nicht viele Bars und Restaurants, aber dafür schmeckt das Essen im Resort vorzüglich. Alles in allem ein Ort den man definitiv weiterempfehlen kann. Vielen Dank an den Chef und an Isuru, der einen perfekten Job macht. Wir haben unsere 3 Tage extrem genossen. My sixth or seventh visit here. The place is a  real treasure. Stuck in a corner off the Kalpitiya peninsula, we always get here for offseason as you mostly get the place to yourselves. The food bit western or Sri Lankan is excellent. The staff very helpful and the location tranquil. It’s my favourite beach getaway. I’d like to keep it to myself selfishly! As for excursions, I have gone to Wilpattu and observed Leopards and gone on a wild boat ride in the Kalpitiya lagoon. Both excursions were very satisfying.. During off season the sea is too rough to take a swim. But sea shore is long and you can take long walks in the dawn or sunset hours. We also had a very interesting cooking experience cooking Cashewnuts , Mud Crabs and an Aubergine salad. Led by chef Rusiru and colleagues Sheehan and Pathum. Lakshman and Suresh who manage the resort do an excellent job keeping us happy and well served. I’ll come back again and again as long as life permits me! Thank you Makara resorts.
